Porsche 993 GT3 Race Car

At 15 inches long, this is one of the
smaller models I have made. However, it
turned out to be quite a difficult task
to complete.

The difficulties I was faced in building
this model started with the design of the
front suspension, which underwent many
changes. Next problem was the placement
of the engine in relation to the interior
and rear axle. This problem was due to the
limiting factor of trying to achieve the
proper wheel base length. Due to the limited
space in the rear of the car, I opted to
install a solid rear suspension as there
was not enough space for an independent
set up.

I have never seen another car body done
only with flexible tubing, so I thought
it would be an interesting effect.
